What does your company do?

We are essentially a small, local company of Project Engineers/Managers whose core business is to perform engineering design and manage land development. We prepare and get approvals for various site development plans. For smaller projects we can also bid out those plans, recommend a contractor and then assist in getting them under contract and manage the day to day field work until the site is constructed to the base paving stage. During the land acquisition and due diligence stage we consult and advise. Finally, we provide peer review work, commenting on already prepared site designs which are ready for site development construction.

What are your fees?

Depending on the size and complexity of the project our fees generally range from 0.5-2% of the total land development budget. Our fees are structured to meet our client’s needs. Often times our fees are lump sum. Other times we invoice hourly with a not-to-exceed limit. Sometimes on residential projects we invoice on a per lot basis. This way our fee can be included as part of the developed lot cost. Our fees provide a great value for the service, commitment and experience the client receives in return.

What is your business philosophy?

Our company is founded and driven by 3 principals – integrity, respect and commitment. Everything we do is based on whether it is the right thing to do, even if doing so has a negative impact on us. We do what we say we will do. If we commit to a schedule or a budget we will meet it. If there are circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those commitments we communicate that immediately. We manage our work and communications with our Clients weekly.
